Digital applications for cycle monitoring are increasingly being used. Many of these technologies promise support in determining the fertile and infertile days; however, their scientific basis has often not yet been sufficiently studied.
The CONtraCEPT project systematically analyses cycle apps and digital cycle-tracking technologies and assesses their scientific evidence; in addition, new biomarkers are being sought, for women who want hormone-free contraception.
